Digital Roots is planning to work with indigenous Kuna youth who inhabit the 360+ islands of Kuna Yala, also known as San Blas in Panama. The Kuna have managed to preserve a good deal of their culture and attract tourists to visit their island paradise. Together digital video and photography will be taught to local youth, who will develop films and expositions for display in the community museum and in newly formed virtual museum. Digital Roots is currently seeking sponsorship and partnership with a major museum to realise this ambitious project.
